Break the routine

By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation, 1995), Ge 2:2–3.

God set the example for us. There is a pattern for life. There is a time to work and and time to rest.

God does not need to rest, but we do. We are limited by our energy and emotion. We need time for the recreation of our selves.

What is it that you do regularly? Your sabbath is your time to break away from the routine. As we step away from the regular, we gain perspective on what we to be.
